From The Accounts Payable Network to FON
Phil Binkow founded PayTECH, an electronic payables processing and information services provider that came to process more than 100 million invoices a year. Profit Recovery Group (PRGX) acquired PayTECH in 1999, and in 2001 its core management team launched Financial Operations Networks in Atlanta, Georgia. FON became the parent company of The Accounts Payable Network, which supported thousands of senior finance professionals, and of the InvoiceInfo supplier portal. Two decades of accounts payable practice — automation, fraud prevention, vendor information management — became the four products FON runs today.
